Charity Requests

Blackpool FC supports the EFL’s official charity and holds an annual poppy shirt auction with the proceeds directly benefitting The Royal British Legion.

The Club is fully committed to supporting local causes with each charitable request for signed merchandise judged on its merits. The Club does not make monetary donations and due to the high number of requests cannot always satisfy them all.

Request Criteria

We have a limited number of signed balls (only) to donate each season. Successful applications will receive one signed Blackpool FC football with a certificate of authenticity.

All charitable requests should be made to Blackpool FC Community Trust via email at charityrequests@bfcct.co.uk

Requests should be made at least four weeks before the date required and must clearly state the main contact’s name, telephone number, and date required, along with a charity number or official letterhead where necessary. Other information may be requested to confirm the legitimacy of your request.

If the criteria are met, one request will be granted per organisation, school or club per season.

The request window will be open from 1st October to 31st March each season. Requests that fall outside of this period will not be considered.

The request must be made officially, on behalf of a charity, school or local football club etc based within Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre with an FY postcode. We deal with specific charities directly so requests for fundraising on behalf of these causes will be automatically rejected.

Your signed ball must be collected from the Community Trust Main Office at the Stadium within two weeks of your confirmation email, or it could be used to fulfil another request.
