Take a look at what Blackpool FC Community Trust have got coming up this month!

Family Clubs will run as normal from 3:30 p.m. in the North Stand Community Hub. On Tuesdays, we will deliver physical activity sessions until 5pm, and on Wednesdays, you can access our Homework Club and enjoy arts and crafts until 5:30pm.

The Big Food Truck run as normal every Tuesday, with our Community Club taking place before from 1:30pm to 3pm. We will be visited by Blackpool & Fylde College, AAA screening services, Blood Pressure Checks, NatWest, Family Hub connectors and Citizen’s Advice.

Join us at our Community Shop on Tuesday 25th February with a focus on Fancy Dress and Books helping you prepare for World Book Day in March! Donations can be made between Monday and Friday from 9am to 5pm.

The Get FIT with BFCCT timetable of fitness classes and £20 a month rolling membership are now live! Classes include Circuits, BoxFIT, ClubFIT, Pilates and Strength & Stretch. We would love to see new and old faces at the sessions.

Aspire 5’s leagues continue, and we are looking for one new team to join our 18-34 league and our Female Aspire 5’s starts on 12th February. For more information email movemore@bfcct.co.uk

On Monday 10th February at 10am-12.30pm we are hosting our Premier League Inspires Challenge in the Matthews Suite. Last year was an amazing experience for all pupils and we aim to generate the same buzz and experience again.

We also have our Holiday Activity and Food Camps (HAF) for children who receive free school meals and our Stars Disability Camp for children living with a disability in the local area. This February, our veterans have a packed schedule filled with engaging activities and opportunities to connect. The month kicks off with the Arnhem Model Making Club on the 3rd, followed by our Veterans Breakfast Club on the 4th. Wednesdays remain a highlight with NAAFI Breaks on the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, featuring special visits from Blackpool Job Centre and Justice for Heroes. Cadet training sessions will also take place on the 5th, 12th, and 26th at HLA. Thursdays offer a mix of activities, including the Horticultural Course running all month, competitive matches between BFCCT and Fylde Community FC on the 6th and 13th, Forces Football on the 20th and 27th, and weekly Walk & Talk sessions. On Saturday, the 1st, we’ll be supporting the Royal Marine Bucket Collection at Bloomfield Road. Finally, we round off the month with a visit to Kirkham Prison on the 23rd and a gathering at the Mezzanine at BVH on the 24th. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic month of camaraderie, support, and engagement!

World Cancer Day in 2025 will be on Tuesday, February 4. The theme for 2025–2027 is “United by Unique”. The campaign focuses on putting people at the centre of cancer care and health systems. Keep an eye on our socials for what we will have going on.
