Coming up in March 2025

Find out what Blackpool FC Community Trust have got going on this month:

Cost of living –

Family Clubs will run as normal from 3:30 p.m. in the North Stand Community Hub. On Tuesdays, we will deliver physical activity sessions until 5pm, and on Wednesdays, you can access our Homework Club and enjoy arts and crafts until 5pm. Throughout March we will also be taking on the challenge of moving 1953 laps of the pitch.

The Big Food Truck continues as normal every Tuesday, with our Community Club taking place from 1:30pm to 3pm. Blackpool & Fylde College, Blood Pressure Checks, NatWest and United Utilities will visit us.

Cancer Awareness –

Throughout March, Blackpool FC Community Trust staff will be spreading awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer you should look out for.

On Saturday, 15th March, at the Blackpool vs. Leyton Orient fixture at Bloomfield Road, BFCCT will be holding a bucket collection outside the stadium to support Macmillan Cancer and raise awareness of prostate cancer. Fans are encouraged to donate and show their support for this important cause.

At this game, BFCCT will also be supporting the Level Playing Field ‘Unite For Access’ campaign, which promotes accessibility and inclusion at sports venues. In partnership with Blackpool Football Club, the focus will be on raising awareness and driving equality for a more inclusive matchday experience for disabled sports fans. To support this, BFCCT will be inviting SEND schools and community groups to the game for free, ensuring everyone can experience the excitement of live football.
